lean yarrum Favourite Sunday morning record. Favorite track: Nothing Touches Me.
Admo

Admo A smoldering set of songs rooted in outsider folk and crooning Americana, like strange transmissions from a late-night AM radio station. Favorite track: Why Should You Take Me There.

SquareLemonPr Love this Album so much. It feels like Burton has been around before, reminiscent of Gram Parsons and some nods to Roy Orbison. A full sound. So much to love about these songs. My fave is Stagnant Pool and of course the Albums namesake “I can go with you”
Joe Borreson

Joe Borreson Sam Burton writes music that is of a truly timeless with a slight 70's AM Radio vibe, with some semi-country rock and some 2020 folky rock leanings and maybe a touch of John Denver nuances, but he still sounds entirely of his own in sweet mellow vibe. Really incredible songwriter and if the 7" released already are an indication then I cannot wait for this fully produced 'official' release of his to come out.

about

LA TIMES ’20 Album We Can’t Wait to Hear This Fall' :
Sam Burton, “I Can Go With You” (Oct. 30)
With a high-lonesome wail that recalls Roy Orbison’s, the Salt Lake City singer and songwriter Burton, who recently relocated to L.A., taps into an old, weird Americana sound filled with echo and longing. Issued by the crucial folk imprint Tompkins Square, Burton’s debut album offers 11 emotionally deep, expertly produced country-rock songs, each with a timelessness that belies their newness.
